The story begins several years in the past when Kastien, one of the sons of the prestigious Mieras family, takes it upon himself to end the conflict between his people and the savage tribes of the Shivrai. The steps he takes will set in motion events that no one expected. 16 years later, four individuals will deal with the consequences of Kastien's actions as they struggle to achieve their own goals.
Eldin harbors a mysterious past from a time when he was surrounded by friends, but in the present time, he is all alone. With a grudge in his heart, Eldin soldiers on to remedy his greatest failure.
Astis, one of the orphans of the Azure Reaper, travels with his sister, Zuri, as they search for the man who slaughtered their people.
Lacian, the prodigal, wisecracking son, lives in a fisherman's village, but he secretly has nightmares of a beast chasing him through the forbidden Whispering Forest.
Cecilia's people are enslaved underneath the Neleura Mountains. Once a year, they are given the opportunity to compete for their right to leave; however, should they lose the competition, they lose their lives as well.

Weigh Out Way-In
There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! Despite they position in the Matra, they tend to have a more laid-back attitude towards the job, which has, naturally, resulted in them gaining a reputation amongst students and Matra alike. On one hand, students see them as a blessing from the Dendro Archon. A beacon of hope who will allow them to achieve all sorts of research, despite the academic offenses these may include. This is, of course, not the case, but no scholar has been around long enough to speak poorly of them. On the other hand, many members of the Matra view them as a lazy, careless member of their ranks. Very few Matra have anything positive to say of Y/N, often claiming they tend to just laze around in the Akademiya, refusing to do anything they're requested to do. This very attitude has led to Y/N gaining the attention of the General Mahamatra.
