She was told that she could never return home, never return to him. A blue eyed childhood friend that at one time, was more then a friend. But now it's the year 2288. Things have changed but both of them find themselves in the commonwealth. She's thought to be dead, and he is now one of the most powerful men throughout the East Coast. So what happens when she is forced to walk back to her past? A past that bore many things. A traitor, a coward, an arranged marriage, and two folds who had sworn their paths to the same god.

On their journey they come across the Enclave, an old enemy of the Brotherhood. Things come to a head as to who holds the Jefferson Memorial, the sight of Project Purity and war immediately breaks out between the two factions. A war deciding if the region gets fresh, clean water, or to make it so everyone in the wasteland becomes sick.
