'The bitter blood taste from my busted lower lip grew more nauseating with each leap I took as twigs and leaves cracked beneath my shoes, echoing throughout the forest.
The ground beneath me blurred while I ran in a daze, feeling the sting of the warm blood oozing down my forehead as the fierce rain thrashed against my body. I continued running for what seemed like longer that it should have, but I figured it was because of the blood hungry manic behind me.
As a bright crack of lighting lit up the grey sky, my head whipped back searching for him just as a excruciating pain knocked against my shin that hurdled me down. Feeling the tenderness of my cuts - I knew that this was definitely not one of my hallucinations.'
