When summer vacation rolls around, Shannon's boss gives her a vacation for the entire two months, and Shannon and her best friend Abby decide to stay with Shannon's grandmother who owns a cafe at the beach.
Shannon expects fun, happiness, swimming, and getting a tan. Maybe even flirting with a few cute boys.
What she doesn't expect is darkness, storms, mysteries, danger, and a not-so-complicated friendship with the most annoying boy on the face of the planet.
