In a world where a nuclear fallout has forced people to fence off themselves from the outside world now known as the Quarentine Zone, two people choose to stand against the pride and greed of others.
One a daughter of a prestiguous family, the other a dead man walking. Angelica Sovereign rebels against her family after witnessing countless acts of greed and corruption. Having enough of the way things are run in her family, she runs out into the Quarentine Zone.
Completely alone and scared of what the rumors of the outside may hold, she pushes forward in hopes of finding a new way of living. Collapsing not even a day into her journey in the Quarantine Zone, she is found by Seth Hendricks. A rebel soldier who fights against the Sovereign Homes by raiding transports and stealing and killing what they can. He is one of the leaders to a terrorist group known as Libertus.
What will become of Angelica when she learns of what she has been taught was all a lie? Can she pick up a rifle to kill her own family? Can she accept that everything is not what it seems? Can she truly fight for a cause she has no part of?
And what will happen to Seth when he is faced with someone who reminds him of his first love that he lost years ago? Can he come to terms with his past? Can he find salvation for his broken and tormented soul? Or will he fade away as another soldier who died for a cause?
