"What is this place? Am I dead?"

She sat on the corner of the bed, a sad expression dawning her face. She hummed quietly.

"Nothing ever really dies." She whispered, her voice so quiet yet so powerful, "We're all stuck here until we're all not. We don't know when that day will come. Only he knows."

Who knew falling asleep could send you through a riff in space and time itself?

Zoe certainly didn't, and she most certainly didn't think lucid dreaming could lead her to be trapped in a fictional world.
