Alyssa Zahra Brown is a snappy sixteen year old who can't live without chocolate and relentless arguments with people. Although given the amount of outrageous high school gossip she's into, you'd probably find it hard to believe she lives her perfect little life.

Well, considering her definition of a perfect living comprises of daydreaming, not being able to bunk classes, going on spontaneous ice cream dates with her best friend Mia, homecoming dances at home featuring popcorn and TV wearing her (extremely comfortable) couch, and being the only person in her entire school to receive two college recommendations without asking for it-- of course, she's got THE awesome things in life as we know it.

If only vulnerability and teenage angst were the cutest things on earth.
Spoiler Alert: Medically speaking, they aren't.

For how many times have you met a woman inside the body of a sixteen year old?
Well, that escalated quickly, did it?

But this isn't a story.
It's an illusion.
An illusion that enchants you into believing it's hard to dream, but it's harder to dream from scratch. Because if you're given the chance to live again, you shut your mouth and take it.
