Cold breeze blew making the withered leaves dance in the icy atmosphere. It was the silence before the storm. Christmas was coming near, the entire town was filled with joy and bright lights. Yet, standing in the isolated park were two souls, broken, betrayed yearning for each other's presence. Dominant steel gray eyes gazed the determined ocean blue ones in awe and curiosity, yet he tries to hide his curiosity in his eyes. Deep inside him a silent voice told him she was the one, but he didn't want to accept that. She invaded into his life silently, like silence before a storm and she is the storm who is to change his life forever. The soul of hers yearns love and the other runs away from it. Failed and scared of that emotion, not knowing what to do,his soul wants to wither just like the leaves. The soul which failed in everything and anything but her sheer determination makes her beautiful and charming. She was the one who wants to break the thick cold wall and wanted to help the other before her, the lonely one. She is the one craving love. Not from someone, but from Rylan.

He took a whiff of his cigarette before pulling me close to him. My heart was thumping so hard against my chest that I was afraid he'd feel it as I was pressed so tightly against him. He lowered his lips to mine and I instinctively opened my mouth as I captured the smoke. I wanted nothing more than to cough but I was dead set on proving to him that I wasn't as stuck up as he thought I was. He looked at me intently and I could see the glaze covering his eyes. "You passed" He said and I let out the breath I was holding. I passed. That was all that mattered to me. He smiled at me and I couldn't help myself as I was affected by him so I returned his smile.
