After the last 8 years of funneling money and time into his character, it is all about to go up in smoke. What good was being the number one solo player if there was no game to play anymore?  So, when the server time ends and nothing happens Kiba finds himself stuck in a land that is no longer YGGDRASIL. Will this master ninja and assassin be able to uncover the mysteries of this new world or will he lose all hope and give up his ninja ways.

She got to level 100 with her Kitsune race. On the last day of the server being up, she decided to try to get into the Great Tomb of Nazarick. When she finally arrived, she noticed the time. The servers were about to shut off, forcing her to log out. Once she stepped onto the land of the tomb mobs started spawning which she easily defeated, but the time for the servers hit. She looked around and noticed the land change from swampy to grassy plains. After that, she looked out over the new grassy plains to see nothing familiar from the game. (Y/N) made his character using a feature called gene combiner so his ingame character is the son of Momonga and Albedo. 8 years later and thousands of in-game hours and thousands of dungeon raids later the servers of Yggdrasil are closing. Momonga and his son have decided to spend the last hours of the game online and wait for the servers to shut down. After all both the father and son have fond memories of their time in Yggdrasil. An OVERLORD story. I thought about making it about an original character but in the end went for the Male Reader insert, tho I plan to call the protagonist by the Character Username from Yggdrasil starting from Chapter II onward, I did this to appeal to both people who enjoy Reader Inserts and people who dont care for it, meaning it is essentially a Male Reader insert but I won't refer to the character as Y/N nor Address the Reader directly by saying "Your POV" after the second chapter of the story. This is also the first story/fanfic I have ever written so feedback is appreciated.
