THESE ARE SHANNON MESSENGERS PEOPLE NOT MINE. Check out Keeper of The Lost Cities, it is my favorite series of books at all times. Anyway, onto the story. This is my first story... So I don't know how it's going to turn out. This book is about Kenric and Oralie's lives were when they attended to Foxfire, and how they feel about there friend (or is it just friends) relationship. And later on in the book they will find out their purpose aka heritage.

The world thought Kenric died. And maybe somewhere deep down, a little part of him had in the time he'd spent in the Neverseen's clutches. But it didn't matter when he saw her. None of it mattered. Only her. Oralie's world was gone. All she could do was put one step in front of the other, desperately hoping everything she'd ever worked for was not for nothing. She was drowning, but it didn't matter. None of it mattered. Because he was gone. ~ Oralie always thought she'd step down with Kenric once this was all over. She'd spend the rest of her life with him. It never occurred to her that by the time this ended, he'd be gone. Now she's falling apart, and no one's there to pick up the pieces.
