Lilliana Day-Cullen was born in the 1200's when times differed greatly from modern times. She was brought up by a poor single mother, a kind lady who was shunned by society. After a life changing event that led to her being changed, she traveled alone for decades before meeting Carlisle Cullen. He was a young man at the time, and a newborn, disgusted at what he had become. They parted ways, and once again, met in Volterra, where Lilliana would meet her soulmate. They soon got married and Carlisle became a father to her. But after two decades, Carlisle decided to leave and went with him, leaving the love of her life behind.
