This is a story about a people. But more importantly it's a story about a girl who is destine to be her people's salvation. 
Maari was borne with the gift of Sight, only one per century child is brone with this gift. In her people's time of suffering and  oppresion caused by their 'sovrigne' King, Maari must rise against the darkness and evil in her world, even if she has to leave a trail of bodies behind her doing it. But how many of her loved ones will she sacrifise and how many of her friends will cut down in order to achieve this new world of peace?
