Never had to wear make-up. Never have to worry about my hair. Never had to be taught how to swim. I wish I would have seen it earlier. On my 17 birthday, my step-dad gives me a book. From my mom. Who isn't dead. So now I'm supposed to drive 180 miles to Miami, get on a boat and travel accross the Bermuda Triangle until I find my sisters, and my mom. Sounds fun, right? But I'll do it I'll do anything to break this curse. I'll do anything to protect and stay with the one I love.

my family took me on a family vacation to the beach to go swimming. we arrived at our beach house at midnight my family went to bed after eating dinner, but I wasn't tired so I stayed up until 3:51 am and went to bed. this will be my first time spending a vacation with my family, I love spending time reading story books in my room then interact with people. I made a deal with my mom that I would not read and if I win, she would buy me a few new stories to read but if I lose. my mom would take me to go shopping with her to buy news clothes for me,and she knows that I hate shopping for clothes with my parents! I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. My name is Oyster Estuary. I am 17 years old. I have suffered from the inability to breath oxygen properly for as long as I can remember.
