So, I watched The Maze Runner: The Death Cure last week - and I am so not okay with that ending! Newt should have survived! So I've taken matters into my own hands and re-wrote the ending. With Newtmas being eventually canon of course! or Where everything's the same except that Brenda, Minho and Gally arrive a minute earlier to save Newt's life and even make it out of the city with the perfect cure made from Thomas' blood. My arm lowered from my eyes so that my vision could adjust to my surroundings. There were about fifty boys, all boys, looking down at me and Thomas in this room in the ground like we were some new animals at the zoo. They were all teenagers and young adults; some tall, some short, some white, some black. Then one of them jumped down and walked over to me holding out a hand to help me out of the Box. "Hey, you're alright." The boy said to me in a comforting tone with a British accent as he finished pulling me out and up to my feet. "Thank you." I replied simply, realizing I was still holding onto his hand and quickly let go. He had dirty blonde hair, dark brown eyes, and a square jaw. "Don't mention it, Greenbean." He said with a smile as he turned and walked towards the back of the crowd. **** "Excuse me."
