When Caylee Mattison was 12 years old something terrible happened scarring her and her family for life causing them to move all the way to the other side of the country to a small town in Pennsylvania. There she met Mason Banks and they automatically became best friends. Three years later, things changed causing the two of them to become mortal enemies. The summer before senior year, Caylee's dad was diagnosed with lung cancer causing yet another change for her life. When something unexpected happens between Mason and Caylee and happens more than once causing something VERY unexpected. What will become of their roller coaster relationship? Will Caylee reveal what fatal event occured causing her to move to the other side of the country? It just shows that change can be good or bad but no matter what it always happens.
