Warped

An illness swept the Earth within seven days, leaving no time to find a cure. Thousands of people died, leaving behind a world of horror. However, most of them didn't stay dead, instead they returned; they are now blood thirsty, strong, fast, warped. The legend describes them as Wendigos, humans resorting to cannibalism, possessed by this creature that uses their body to hunt.

Laura Hunt, a girl with a shadowy past holds a secret that can change the way the game of this new world is played. She's a carrier: someone who is human but strong and fast like the Wendigos. Even though those left in this apocalyptic world know of carriers, opting to burn them before they fully 'turn', no one knows of Laura's secret. Until Laura finds a note, threatening to expose her if she doesn't do what they say. Laura doesn't know who to trust and begins to search for answers herself. In the end, it becomes apparent that some things in this world are better off kept hidden.
