The harrowing experience of a boy who flees his birthplace in order to find a haven in another country. This is a story about the many sacrifices that people have made throughout history in order for us to breathe and live freely, for us to roam this earth as we please.

It is just a very short story that provides a fleeting glimpse at the difficulties and problems that were faced by people when India was partitioned in 1947.

I have never written a whole book. It has always been short stories or essays - that anyone can read conveniently in the shortest of time -  so I hope that you enjoy this one!😊

'Didn't I tell you to stay away from me? Are you trying to tease me? When I try to touch you, you don't let me. When I tell you to stay away, you don't seem to do that either. Now whatever will happen with you tonight will entirely be your fault.' He suddenly picked her up with ease and started walking towards beds.
