"The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth." -Jean Cocteau. Words are deceptive, leading us to believe that which isn't true. But poetry cannot lie. It is the language of a heart unchained, unburdened by the trials that demand we be strong. Poetry is a crying out of the soul. And so, contained within, the outcries of my soul.
