"ASUNA!!" I yell, as her figure bursts into millions of blue crystals as her form slams against the floor.
"SILICA!!" I try to reach over to Silica's injured body, but the Dark Field's sword jammed right into her, with a burst of blue as her health bar turned clear.
"LIZ!!"
"PINA!!"
"KIRITO, NO!!!"
Everyone. Gone. With only me and Yui left. I grip my sword tightly as tears fall to the dungeon floor from my scarred eyes. I activate my sword skill, Berserk Shots, and start running towards the boss, with my sword shinning a light blue. I swear on my life, I WILL protect Yui and avenge my friends.... I thought, reaching closer to the boss, yelling at the top of my lungs. I jump up and twist, aiming my sword at the boss's head.
"NEVER LIVE AGAIN!!!"
I woke up, panting and sweating from what seemed to be reality. I got up and left the room, checking on the others. I sighed in relief as I came back, minutes later.
"Damn...this place is really getting to me..." I said, looking out the window and into the dark night
"Besides....this is only just a game. Well, a game of death..."

This is a retelling of my least favorite arc in, "Sword Art Online," which is the, "Fairy Dance Arc." I am going to attempt writing my own version of the story that is much darker and focuses on things that the original arc didn't focus on. The story follows Kirito, after he wakes up from beating, "Sword Art Online." He learns that Asuna didn't wake up with him and he now struggles to find a reason to keep trying to live his life. Once he learns that Asuna is still alive in a different game, he must find the motivation to become the player that he once was in, "Sword Art Online," in order to save her from a threat unlike anything he has faced, before. With Kirito beating Heathcliff, a.k.a Kayaba Akihiko (who was also Ume's uncle), everyone was released from the game. But alas, that isn't where the story ends. Kirito and Asuna meet together in real life, happy as can be, only to find out three hundred players have yet to awaken from their slumber. Asuna leads Kirito to Ume's family's hospital and asked to see her. When they reach her, they expect her to be awake and send a sarcastic remark for not knocking, but instead, she is still unconscious and shows no signs of waking up soon. Everyday, they visit her, or Evey few days, but still she lays there, unmoving. Then, Kirito gets an email from Agil with a picture, and in it was of a girl with snow white hair and icy blue eyes and wings made of crystal.
