It really wasn't the best time to be one of the Azuls. They were reported dead. All of the ones they sent out, gone, their lives taken. There was no more hope. Well, maybe one. A stubborn, knows-too-much hope of an Azul. It was too risky, but they had to do it.

Rain Eule knows that she wasn't supposed to be sent out. She knew her "mission" wasn't going to be through the process of the Sleep. Of course, it wasn't that she wasn't good enough, but because her mental state was on the tipping point, and yet her power was as strong as ever. They wanted to 'keep' her, for 'future tests', they said. 

That was a lie.

It wasn't the first lie they told her, nor would it be the last. 

It wasn't until they sent her to the Sleep did she realize that all those Truths were Lies. That whatever 'mission' they had sent her friends on were lies. They weren't just keeping her for her powers, they had everyone else's. But there was more to the gifts she had. More to the supposed missions they sent the others on. 

There was more to their abilities than they knew, secrets whispered under their noses, a wrong intention that led to another lie, another secret . . . something that they would remember? Or wouldn't even think about, along with everything else erased from their minds?All Rights Reserved
