Aubrey Minor's life is spiraling out of control. His neglectful parents are getting divorced, his self-esteem is at rock bottom, and he's harassed every day. However, after nearly being attacked at a party, he finds himself being helped by a main source of his torment, Chase Downer.

As the two's bond begins to grow into something more, they find comfort from the secrets they hide from the world in each other. But the closer they become, the harder they try to hold themselves together.
