At dahil nga sa kawirduhan ko, dinala ako nito sa kakaibang mundo. Kakaibang mundo na ngayon ko lang nakita. A world more vast than ours. Liminal Hollow
The worlds we inhabit are known to us. Their form and function familiar enough that even when the unusual happens, it doesn't go beyond our beliefs. Yet not every world is equal in that regard. Some embrace the supernatural that others spurned. Scientific advancements come at different rates, and what one world considers normal is unlikely to be the same on others. Yet when the boundaries between worlds begin to weaken, the denizens of those worlds will find themselves inexplicably drawn into a battle they could never have imagined, struggling alongside those not even their wildest dreams could have conjured. Their lives separate, yet inextricably connected. Will they be able to save their worlds from destruction? What secrets of the universe will they unearth? And will any of them discover the truth behind the Liminal Hollow?

Mahingga
FULL STORY IS UPLOADED. Free to read After his brother is taken, Ako hesitantly teams up with a foreign girl to go save him from a continent of warring nations. Once there, he learns that his family's technology could be the key to not only saving his brother, but his entire island nation. This story came to me shortly after returning to America. I'd just been living in the Philippines and found something magical and beautiful there. Most of the names of people and locations originate from Filipino words in the Tagalog language. For example, Mahingga, the name of the of the island where the story starts, means "rest" in Tagalog. I wanted to the story to be funny and adventurous with a sense of wonder. I hope you enjoy the story, and I'm happy to hear any feedback.Abgeschlossen

Zero Sum
Humanity is not alone in the universe. More specifically Earth is not alone. It is an age of wonder for humanity. For all but a few. Our history has been altered, according to one who has visions of the fractured world that could have been but never was. The way history would have played out without an intergalactic coalition of humans visiting Earth. And he cannot decide whether the advanced human's arrival is really all that it seems. Whether we would have been better off as things are now, or with how his visions tell him things ought to have been. There are multiple worlds colonized by a vast space faring technologically and biologically enhanced human race all across the galaxy. Earth is just one of many of such colonies. At some point in our forgotten past Earth was cut off from our intergalactic neighbors and decides to fend for herself. Later we lose ourselves to infighting and nationalism instead of being true to our nature of being a space dwelling, intergalactic human cooperative. Now our space cousins are reestablishing contact with Earth. Bringing their superpower enabled, technological mastery of science so advanced as to seem supernatural. Eliminating slavery, wars, crime, diseases, climate shifts, and currency, with their arrival. Offering the promise of entry into a thriving united galactic empire. (I am dropping in from time to time updating the story with fresh ideas as they pop into my head this is so very much a first draft I have not even decided on names for some of the characters or different factions of humans that are to be encountered from beyond our solar system)
