There was one issue Adreen had with being a part of a team. She would have to look after more people other than herself and Artemis. She would also end up caring for more than one person which she did not want to go through. 

She had only lived with Artemis and her mother for a few months after an incident Batman found her in. The Dark Knight had Green Arrow take her under his wing given his experience with what she has gone through. Adreen spent most of her days huddled in her twin bed, staring at the wall until she and Artemis were brought into Young Justice. 

It was not her favorite idea that the archer had but she followed through, becoming a part of something she never believed she would grow accustomed to.
