Viktoryia's hand flew over to the knob of the radio, amplifying the sound to better understand what the voice was saying.
"-Two more found dead last night, Sheriff Austin is declaring a state wide curfew until the murderer is caught."
Her blonde friend quickly changed the station, "Viktoryia..." Her fluent accent making the name roll off her tongue like a wave, "I don't think it's him...He is dead, remember?" The short brunette quickly turned her head to the window, focusing on anything to get her mind off the tears pricking her eyes.
"I remember. He was declared dead in the fire." Viktoryia turned back to her friend, smiling weakly at her.
"I'm sorry, Vicky." Veronika replied quietly, pulling to the parking space just outside the school, "I'm sure he wouldn't want you so upset, you know he hated you being sad..."
