Katherine and Mathew were brief lovers in high school. They mutually decided to separate when they moved on to uni. Like a cliché their story goes that they met years later, by this time he had already had 5 children whose mum had passed away 3 years prior.
Kat and Mathew started out by rekindling their friendship which lead to something more which nearly 2 years later turned into marriage.
Unfortunately their story does not let the happiness last as a year into their marriage Mathews death was just around the corner.
