Cate Gibson, an ordinary girl in an ordinary town in England, is beginning to lose hope. Spike was her happiness, her dream, her passion - he was this, and he was that. He was most things. But when they cut ties, Spike erased his old self and became nothing but a stranger to her. A stranger with red hair and an Adidas tracksuit, just like the rest of them, who spread stories of his ex's frigidity and insecurity and possibly ruined all in life that was to come. Even with all the dirty looks towards her, she still loved Spike despite his destruction. But there was an incredible amount that one message could change...
