It's been a year since Adam got the horrible phone call from his son that his daughter, has died in a terrorist attack at a concert. His whole life has collapsed and he can barely take care of himself. 

When Tommy finds out that he has been cheating, he asks for a divorce. He moves to Burbank with their son and everything just gets worse.

But when Adam's new husband is suffering from cancer, he take over custody of five-year-old daughter. 

He starts to feeling better and his life is filled with joy and light. But the grief of Ari is still there and will Tommy ever forgive him?
