"I need your help Emma," I say softly
"Why should I help you James," she spat," you left me dilshit! Go ask someone else."
She stuck her nose up in the air like a kid, making a small chuckle rise from my throat. I get up and tap the butt of my gun on her shoulder. She flinches a bit, struggling against the ropes binding her.
"I'm in a bit of a pickle Em," I say slowly walking around to meet her face," you know you're the only one that can help me."
Her hazel eyes shone with anger and pain. The pain I caused. I left her for a reason, now I'm dragging her back into my life. But I don't have a choice.
This is an unconventional spy "novel".
