Before the first airship rose into the air, before the city of Oasis became the majestic and wealthy capital of Arctica, before Oasis even existed as a rough-hewn mining town in the remote northern reaches of an already wild frontier colony, Oasis existed in the mind of its founder as an impossible dream: A town where anyone may live in peace, free from discrimination. For this purpose, he travels into the wild northern frontier of Arctica where coal, gold, and diamonds may be found. This natural wealth, however, is trivial compared to what he hopes to find there.
