Cara was rushing from one room of the house to another trying to get ready for school without missing the bus. She was just about to dart out the door when a knock came.
Opening the door, there standing on her flower welcoming mat was a man dressed in black. He had a rounder belly, a long white beard, and his nose was slightly red, maybe from rubbing it too much. To be honest, he resembled a goth Santa Claus.

"Who are you?" questioned Cara, while slightly hiding behind the door.

" I'm Ben. The God of Death."

A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. But when she comes face to face with her destiny, will she make the right choice or be swallowed by fate?
