So you seen it all. (Wayward.) You saw us all. (Jude.) And you saw us fall. (Leta.) Wayward is just trying to survive in the now and escape his past. He was abandoned to these streets and their people, and now he doesn't know how to leave. Jude doesn't know how to love anyone properly. He knows pain and violence, but not kindness and cures. This is the world he made, one that he's starting to think is poisoning him. Leta just needs to feel again after her years of numbness. She grew up here in these ramshackle tribes that taught her to block it all out with substances. So she's turned to anything that will make her feel again, all the while knowing that she's still numb inside. Three people leading three separate lives that have intertwined. Now that they are connected, they must try and heal themselves. If they don't, they'll be facing a much harsher reality than the one they're in. But just when they think that maybe things are different, it all falls down, and they watch it happen.

Y/N, which is you, was walking around the campus of your high school. You hear something weird. Like the sound of somebody getting pushed up against the lockers. You recognize the sound. All too well. You turn the corner and see the one person you never wanted to see again. The one who hurt you. The one who left, and left you broken. The one who let your trust and faith in people slip. The one who let you become lonely. The person who made you happy, but then let you fall and get buried ten feet under. He's the person you didn't feel like seeing. You weren't ready. You don't know what to do. They left, they let you become broken, they let you lose all hope in people, and now he's back. You wish it weren't true. You wish he never would've come back. Will you let them back in, or will you keep them out.
