Polar Opposites

Sophie and Jake are polar opposites. She’s the president of the mathletes, and top of the senior class. He’s the Prom King, and the senior MVP and captain of just about every sport at James Madison High School. Near the end of their senior year, they talk for the first time, and Jake shows a sudden interest in Sophie; however, she will have none of it. When Sophie finally thinks she’s gotten rid of the irritating jock, they find themselves at the same college: Cornell University. The unspoken boundary lines of high school begin to blur as the two start college. As the two very different personalities clash, Jake teaches Sophie to live a little and that there’s more to life than your GPA and knowing everything. At the same time, Sophie teaches Jake that being athletic and charismatic won’t get you everything you want or need.
