"The rage. The blood. The screams. The smoke. The bombs. The ossa."

The ossa. Monsters born from greed and radiation. In the year 2053, the world was being overrun with cannibals. Drugs were laced with widow, an addictive man-made drug that made the user hysterical and violent. The users of these infected drugs became part of the growing population of cannibals.

The powerful people in the world had enough and decided one thing to do.

Nukes. Everywhere. No country was safe, no one was safe. But their plan backfired on them. The radiation mutated these cannibals into vicious creatures, leaving who was left alive in immense danger. The only safe place to go is Washington, DC. The safe house.

Eight years later, there are still lots of people alive. But not as many as there should be.
