[COMPLETED]
Indigo always had problems, but when her father committed murder-suicide against her mother, she had trouble keeping those problems under control. She had a fear of the world. Everyday actions were feats for her; going to high school, socializing, even falling asleep at night. Of course, her greedy aunt was no help.

She felt hopeless.

Until she met Nate.

Nate had problems of his own. All his life he's had trouble staying focused. He wanted to believe he was normal, but it's hard to think that when you're brilliant in class and... not so brilliant on paper. He didn't want to have A.D.H.D. He tried to pretend he didn't, but there was something rooted deep inside him, telling him he wasn't good enough.

He felt useless.

Until he met Indigo.

When Nate met Indigo, all he wanted to do was help, but could she reveal her secrets to him? Could two wrongs make a right? Quickly, Indigo and Nate developed a relationship that neither thought was possible for themselves to have. Could Nate help Indigo move on from her past and defeat her demons? Could Indigo help Nate accept himself for who he was and hopefully help him pass English?

Originally a NaNoWriMo novel, The Way the World Ends revolves around two teens just trying to survive high school and hopefully understand themselves and the words of T.S. Eliot.

- "God Blake, you're a true enigma" Her eyes widened slightly at his words. "I don't understand" she claimed, backing up a step from him, which he had clearly noticed. And to her shock, he took a step forward, blocking the gap she had just created. "You seriously don't see what I was trying to do up there?!" he asked, almost in disbelief. "Do you have any idea how long I've been waiting to do that?!" she couldn't believe how loud he was suddenly. She had always known Lucian as a calm person with a soft, almost brooding voice that he never raised. Now it almost sounded excited, it was interesting seeing a new side of Lucian Black. - Something is happening at Cross Climb High-school Although it seems fairly normal, students going amongst their days unbeknownst to who they travel life beside. Blake Collins was forced to move schools, along with her four best friends. With her mother dead and her father in prison for attempting to murder her brother, she's in foster care, struggling every day with panic attacks and obsessive thoughts from a past of psychological damage. In her new school, she deals with not only her constant daily struggle to maintain normalcy, but also somehow becoming the director of the school play. Add a crush on the school's bad boy, Zac, who seems more interested in Stella, Blake's promiscuous best friend and also contending with another one of the school's popular boys, Lucian, chasing her constantly despite firmly keeping up her barriers. Everything seems fairly normal, at least at first. But, brewing nearby is a rage so intense that it's about to bubble over, and when strange things start happening around her, Blake can't help but fear the worst events will unfold and hope that it won't take the lives of those she loves along with her own. Be careful, because you never know what people are really thinking. - *Warning* Swear words, violence, thoughts of self harm, and spelling mistakes that I need to fix and I swear I will.

(FINISHED WRITING, BEING REVISED!) An only child, by the name of Nathaniel, has a very unfortunate life. Unpopular, bullied, and outcasted by everyone at school; even his own parents didn't want him! He's miserable... At least that was until his eighteenth birthday where he has the most bizarre encounter. A break-in at his own home from an organization that holds a secret from the entire world! Now, he attempts to find his life's purpose, coming across many friends as well as enemies, many obstacles, great pain, deep love, and important life lessons. It's up to him to decide whether or not he's the one in control of his own life. !!!CAUTION!!! IF YOU ARE ONE TO READ BOOKS BY THE LAST CHAPTER TO SEE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, CHAPTERS TOWARD THE END OF THIS BOOK CONTAIN HUGE SPOILERS THAT MAY RUIN OR ALTER THE DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND ENJOYMENT AND IF YOU STILL WISH TO READ THE LAST CHAPTER I SUGGEST CHAPTER 53! Info of my writing style and this book: • This book is written from the first-person point of view. Everything he thinks about; everything you read, will be the exact moment of everything that's happening. When Nathaniel gets cut off and interrupted, his thoughts will be interrupted as well. • I'll put seven periods to indicate a change in the scene; to show that time has passed since the last scene. • Bolded names are important characters to Nathaniel and the story • This book contains vulgar and sometimes erotic descriptive language. • This book is targeted toward a young adult audience.
