Lacey Cane, a girl who is 17 about to be 18, has been dancing since she was 2 years old.  Her mom, who is a nurse has been taking care of her.  Her dad, occasionally goes and drinks at a local bar because of his PTSD.  A couple of years after his actions, a court date is issued for the divorce of her parents.
       One day during her month stay with her father, he changed.  After practice, he takes her to an abandon parking lot, attempting to kill her.  Then speeds through the town and crashes leaving Lacey in there for dead
       After recovering in the hospital, Lacey goes back to practice.  A young man comes comes into her life that is from the U.K.  He works with her to get better with her dancing since the accident.
