Neku, Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme have finally ended their 3-week-long torment known as the Reapers' Game. They're finally able to live their lives-second lives, that is-peacefully. Sadly, their life is cut short once more as they are thrown back into the Game. But this isn't the same Game. Almost everything is new and different from before. They know they'll have to make allies. In their new Game, they meet new Players, Reapers, and an interesting, young boy named Taka Kida.
