What does it take to unlock the path of true happiness? For two complete strangers, it's as simple as a wish to escape their sham of a life. But there's a reason you should be careful what you wish for. They'll be put to the ultimate test to determine how far they're willing to go and how hard they're willing to work for the desires of their hearts. ------------------------------------------------------ Zain Lockheart has always been the prime example of "everything that glitters isn't gold". Constantly living as an outcast in the shadow of his parents' fame and riches, he never imagined there'd be more to life than living in a gilded cage. When he meets Saber Blacke at a housewarming, he discovers a kindred spirit in her. She knows all too well what it is to pretend to be content for the sake of image. All it takes is this chance meeting to send them both nosediving into an alternate reality, where a mysterious race of people are suffering the consequences of a rift-inducing war that took place over a century ago. With Saber as his closest companion, Zain quickly transforms from a burden of privilege into the key of salvation for these people and their doomed world. The goal seems simple enough to accomplish: reunite two kingdoms to restore the world to its former glory. But what he isn't counting on is a pair of intruders, watching his every move from the shadows, hellbent on unleashing chaos and destroying this paradise beyond repair forever. Only one thing is certain now: if he ever wants to return home with Saber, they must first survive the harsh trials and unforgiving wilderness of Wonderland.Tamamlanmış Hikaye
Second No More, a novel
I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her. For readers: * I do my best to proofread before publishing, but some typos and errors will slip through. Feel free to point them out! * Comments, active engagement, and helpful critiques are welcomed. * Mean, unnecessary comments that attack me, personally, or other commenters will be ignored and deleted. It takes a lot of courage to publish your work and for others to actively engage in a community. I'd like to keep this a safe and fun place to rage at imperfect heroes and cheer for darling heroines! * I'm not a spicy writer. I rather use my word count for plot, character development, and GROVEL!!! * Most importantly, I hope you enjoy the little world I'm creating. Happy reading, everyone! Desert Wind
Dear Reader, I challenge you to a duel! Yes, exactly! Prepare for a battle. The battle for your heart and soul. I'm about to whisk you away and immerse you in a world brimming with magic and secrets. But fear not, on this adventure through the wilderness, you'll be accompanied by Klelia and... that's a surprise :)) Your task is simple. You have to survive... Are you ready to take up the challenge? "I'm dead. I died back in that hut. I don't exist anymore. And now, after everything that's happened, you want to talk?" I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "Who am I to you?" He closed the distance in an instant. I had nowhere to escape; there was a wall behind me, and he stood before me. "Are you really asking who you are to me, Klelia? You are my sun and moon. The source of my suffering and pleasure. My oxygen. I breathe you every day. Every second of life without you is worthless. Without you, there is no me. That's what you are to me. My private universe. I want to immerse myself in you. To lose myself." "I'm dangerous. At any moment, I could..." Tears welled up in my eyes. "I'm not like you." "You're no more dangerous than me," he interrupted, kissing me hungrily, as if he were desperate for air. P.S. Grab your best sword and cape. Despite appearances, desert nights can be cold.
Nuestro Si? Si.
My Fucked Up Fairytale
TEASER: "No fiancée of mine needs to learn how to fight." His breath flows upon the prickling skin of my neck. I close my eyes, involuntarily shuddering in response. "All you need to know how to do is satisfy me." "How exactly am I supposed to satisfy you?" The answer to such a question is obvious, yet, like the idiot I am, I still asked him. "Blood...and of course, other means." BLURB: When college student Cyra finds her life falling apart after a brutal breakup, she wishes for an escape-only to awaken in a realm filled with sword-wielding vampires, deadly elves, and more fantastical creatures. Shadow of the Prince
"A fantastical cross between the Beauty and the Beast and ACOTAR." A prince, a witch, and a wolf are tied together by the sins of their parents. Can they break free of the secrets that bind them, or will the Kingdom of Eidas forever be under a terrible curse? Dalia Leary, the eighteen-year-old daughter of an outcast Seer and a downtrodden merchant, lives in a city steeped in lore and magic, where the gods rule the seasons and the noble half-bloods rule the people. The kingdom of Eidas is down on its luck, facing mass starvation and economic failure from prolonged droughts. Dal's mother seems certain that there is a strange, simple solution to both their problems and those of Eidas'. Dal just has to marry the Prince of Eidas, Prince Tullvomm. Easy, right? Of course not. The Prince is nearly ten years her senior, and engaged to be married to the beautiful Princess of the East. She is nothing more besides a common girl from Bridgewater Avenue. Besides the obvious issues of his princess fiancée and her very un-noble birth, there's one other small little problem - Prince Tullvomm is never seen without his pitch-black wolf at his side - his beastly protector. The more Dal tries to get close to the Prince, the more the ghastly wolf seems to always get in the way. Dal realizes that to get access to the Prince she must either befriend the beast or slay him, and though part dog he may be, the beast doesn't seem the type to lie down and roll over. In fact, the more time Dal spends around the creature the less sure she is that he is a dog at all.Tamamlanmış Hikaye
𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐔𝐃𝐄𝐃
I look up at him, his face nothing but a hazy memory. His head is tilted down towards me and I think about how odd it must be for him too. If we kissed, would we find each other's lips? Would it be as natural as breathing? He's mere inches from me and just the presence of his body is suffocating. I don't even have to see his face to know how well he makes my body react. Goosebumps trickling down my arms, and the hairs on the back of my neck rising like sunflowers facing the sun. It's as if I can really see his face. His features and the looks he gives. It's so familiar, so in-tune with me, that I feel like I've always seen it. I can feel his eyes set on me, my figure under his gaze. I can feel the tension in the air and I'm not even sure if I'm breathing. "That necklace around your neck," he scoffs. "What about it?" I ask, my voice low. "I've seen it every single time I've seen you and it drives me insane. It's the one thing I can see below your face." Something clicks into place for me. The puzzle pieces align, and I feel alive. "Then take it off and put your hand there, I can wear that instead," I grin. __ Scarlett Moore. Taniel (The Taverner's Daughter I)
THE TAVERNER'S DAUGHTER - BOOK ONE FANTASY, MAGIC, DRAGONS, ROMANCE, WINGED WIZARDS. Please Note: The rest of this series will not be published until the complete series is drafted and revised - probably another four volumes over the next year. However, this book doesn't end on some really bad cliffhanger, and I think it has a satisfactory 'end' feel, so do read it if you wish. After mistaking a leather-clad wizard for a dragonrider, the taverner's daughter agrees to binding vows: Jarryd hopes for a magic-saving paternity spell but Taniel just wants his dragon. Of course, it is not that simple. It never is. Others have plans for Taniel and can do without Jarryd's interference. Taniel's father is little help, too busy dealing with a guilty conscious and pining for his missing wife. Add talking dragons, kidnappings, a gallivanting Grandmaster Wizard, a wicked stepfather, seductive shape shifting winged wizards, and midwitchery. Stir with rumour of plotting land-locked pirates, spies, feisty forest sprites, rockgoblins, and a failing magical barrier. Welcome to the world of A Corrangorachian Fantasy. SOME MILD MATURE MOMENTS (but maybe not enough to mark MATURE): A few not-particularly-graphic sex scenes. Violence? Could get nasty, depending on your perception. Drug Use? Pipe smoking, copious alcohol, and the odd potion. And some coarse language, of course. (AUSTRALIAN - BRITISH ENGLISH)Tamamlanmış Hikaye
