Izuku is done with being looked down upon. Bakugou has put him down for the last time. He's beat him and told him to kill himself too many times to count. So, he took his advice, Izuku took a swan dive off the top of the school.

Bakugou, two years later, has not moved on from Izuku suicide. He has persued Izuku's dream of becoming a hero by passing the entrance exam to UA.
But when Izuku comes back into the picture, Bakugou is heartbroken over the fact he is now a villain.
