The Test was designed to decide where the citizens of the Great City live: the luxurious Innercity, the agricultural Middlecity, or the polluted Outercity. Growing up in the Innercity, Cassandra has always pictured herself at the top. The top of her class, the top of her peers, and soon, the top of the Innercity. It also helps that her mother is the Test Administrator. But to secure the life she has always wanted, she must pass, no, dominate the Test. When the Test doesn't go as planned, Cassandra must choose between her friendships, battle invisible forces, and survive the life the Test had given her. Because the Test can't be wrong. Right?
