Mai Shishikusa ran past an old shrine, her mother's purple Kimono in hand. The rocks making her bare feet ache and the grass cutting her legs. Her heart thumped as she looked around her, paranoid that Akari was near. Her red bow sat a top her head caught on a tree branch and she was yanked back with yelp.
Helplessly tangled in the trees, Mai gasped as she began tugging her bow as hard as she could off the tree. The bow remained stuck on the tree branch. Out of pure frustration, she dropped the kimono she was holding and yanked her bow with both hands. Her red ribbon was ripped into pieces. She held the tattered cloth in her hands and, in her peripheral vision, Mai saw glowing red hair.
Akari.

Gwen is an ordinary person. Wife to Amanda. Mother to Grace and Alexandra. Suddenly, she is no longer ordinary as she finds herself battling her urges and demons before she hurts those closest to her. But is it already too late?
