Imagine, just for a second, let's imagine you end up somehow travelling into your favourite book. Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). And you find yourself literally dropped into the lap of a psychopathic rival who enjoys just a teeny bit of bloodshed. He's also the guy who killed your favourite character and not to mention you. But then you hold on for a second because you realise you're not dead and he wants to use you as an immortal tool to sharpen his aim. Well that's the story I ended up living in. He just waved his hand in dismissal and shrugged. "It's fine. I wasn't totally paying attention to where I was going either," he said. She must uncover the truth of her past, look past the lies of her parents and her own childhood, and fill in the blanks whilst dealing with loud voices in her head, shadows that follow her every move, and a man who she must obey in order to save her sanity, her life and herself. The question still remains, who is this strange man who threatens her very existence? Will she be able to stop him before he kills her, before he traps her in the darkness forever? Will she whistand the torture, will she handle it all? Or will she snap, will she bend and break like her father did, and his father before him? Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. So, sorry in advance. ~Just Perfect EDIT: As of 03/29/14 (arranged in this order: dd/mm/yy), this story has deviated from its original "pure romance," into something worth delving deeper into.
