The Night We Met

"I'm leaving tomorrow" I say and I already know he is very aware of the fact that in the morning I will be on my way back to the city.

"We will keep in touch, and you will come back next summer." He say and give me one of his breathe taking smiles, I get weak in my knees every time he smiles that way to me. He makes me feel like all those movies.

"Of course I will come back next summer, promise to wait for me?" I say, I want to make it sound like I'm joking a little but the thought of him with someone else is killing me on the inside.

"I promise... promise you will come back to me."

"I promise."
