A couple, Emilie and Rick, found her and decided to look after her. The baby's biological parents couldn't care for her themselves, wanting to keep her safe from darkness. Though they knew nothing about what their daughter would become when she grew older, they still loved her. When the biological parents finally explained everything to Emilie and Rick, revealing what they truly were, the couple continued to love the baby as their own and understood why they needed to keep her safe."
