I ran quickly down the hallway, Looking for any exit or hiding place so i wouldn't be found. I could hear the constant ringing in my ears of the alarms that went off because of me. I finally found a way to escape with Lances help. I saw a door open next to me and I was grabbed and pulled into the room, my mouth covered by a hand. I staggered back against a chest and struggled, trying to get out of this persons grip.
"Shhh...." A male voice whispered and I heard the guards and doctors running past the room we were in. After they past, my mouth became uncovered and I moved forward. i turned towards the male and I could only see he wore all black clothes and a smile.
"Who-!" I began but he put his hand up, stopping my words.
"I'm here to help you escape, Kayla." The male stated in a strong, calm voice. He didn't sound like anyobody I knew, and he defiantly wasn't Lance.
"Why would you help me?" Was the only question and words i could form to say to this mysterious male.
I could see his grin widened. "Let's just say I was in this asylum once." That was his only answer.
"What is your name?" I asked, still not knowing who he was or what he wanted.
The male walked into the small light and gave a bow and taking my hand, kissing the back. I could feel my cheeks get slightly hot from this action.
I could see his eyes turn slightly playful as he locked his eyes with mine. "You may call me Eric, Miss Kayla."
i didn't realize my time in this asylum, would have me meet new people, learn who to not trust or too trust, and who to help me escape Whitehurst.
