Tsubaki a Danish-Japanese foreign exchange student majoring in Journalism recently moved to Japan to explore her love of mythology and cultural lore; so it was not a big surprise when she started writing for the local teens magazine called Tea Time run by it's sole Manager and Editer Yua Shimadzu right after graduation. It was a part time job that she did during her summer break.

As an upcoming author, she had gotten her own column writing about the legends of Japan and their origins by visiting different locations in Japan.

One night she had a strange dream.. about a faceless yokai who was about to steal and eat her soul- and as its spider like legs hung on it's sour smelling skin irritating web, it's curved fangs just about to strike...

An unlikely hero saved her..

Of course she did not believe it was real, and so agreed to the favor requested by her masked hero in payment for saving her life.

To be his bride.

She had seen many dramas about such things and had been convinced it was just a twisted match-up of a fantasy Korean drama she had recently watched and so agreed without a second thought. It was obviously all just a dream right?

Wrong.

Unknowingly she had made a legal deal with the Oni King and as she had been whisked away into the world beyond the Tori Gate.

Nothing was ever as it seemed, friends, enemies, faceless handmaiden..entities that could read a person's thoughts... she definitely was not in Kyoto anymore.

When the Oni King suddenly went missing, those who wanted to take his place soon made their presence known. As his only 'official' wife it was her duty to take over, and as rumors spread of her baring his 'heir apparent' his enemies wasted no time in making their move.

Now on the run, she is faced with a decision to make.. Go back to the human world or stay and fight..

Join Tsubaki and her newly found friends on their journey, filled with love friendship, and tragedy in Oni no Hanayomi; the Goblin's Bride!

At sixteen, Eri finds herself in a secret marriage arranged by her grandparents - to none other than Gojyo Kou, her cold, distant childhood enemy turned fresh graduate and newly assigned history teacher. They live in the same apartment. Sleep in the same room. Share the same silence. He cooks his meals. She makes hers. They speak like strangers. But when another boy - Sano, a sharp-tongued classmate - starts catching Eri's heart, Gojyo's indifference begins to crack. Not that he'll admit it. Torn between duty, resentment, and a slow-burning connection neither of them wanted, Eri must navigate high school, secrecy, and the confusing reality of falling for someone she already calls husband. In the background, Gojyo's best friend Haru hides his anger behind a calm smile. He can't have the man he loves - Gojyo - so instead, he devotes himself to quietly protecting him and Eri. Meanwhile, Haru's reckless twin brother, Teppi, is trying to rebuild his life. But his volatile romance with Takehito - a possessive kinesiology grad student with a hero complex - threatens to spiral out of control. Meanwhile, their friends Mino and Saga, both med students, are trying to hold each other up through hospital rotations, late-night breakdowns, and the kind of love no one warned them would be this hard. Everyone's pretending. Everyone's hurting. And everyone's one kiss away from destroying everything. Is it love if no one's allowed to know? And what happens when you start wanting what you were forced into?

Unbeknownst to Hime, it is thanks to Shunsui that she obtained the scholarship, the young master seeming to have some hidden agenda regarding her. After she accidentally breaks Shunsui's cell-phone, the latter judiciously declares Hime his 'slave', i.e., his personal assistant who is to follow him everywhere and accomplish all his wishes. This is how Hime starts hanging out with these two young men. Slowly, she discovers their past and their intricate relationships with their parents. Will Shunsui be able to let down the wall he has built between his mother, Tsubasa, and himself? Will the distance Gōjun has set between his father, Kenren, and himself ever melt away?
