Kendra Ross is popular. Everyone knows that, and she makes sure of it. She's your stereotypical popular girl; lip gloss, crushes, drama, heels, crop tops, and fake pep. 

And she hates it. She's not what you'd think. 

But she doesn't want to leave the A-squad. She'd never live it down. Hell, she might not even make it out of high school alive to begin with. 
     
So when a new guy comes to school, she sees him as a second chance. 
     
Maybe he can help her discover who she really is, without her fake friends and whatever mess she's currently gotten herself into. 
     
Maybe he can be a real friend. 
    
 Or maybe, by the end of it all, he could be more.

Of course, I planned on kissing Cece, until a girl with golden lipstick stole my New Years kiss, and I KNOW it wasn't Cece. But the thing is, I can't stop thinking about this girl! *P.O.V. Change* I'm April, my life was normal until Zeke started going insane about this "girl who kissed him at the New Years party", I think it's Cece, but he claims it wasn't. And, I thought how incredibly awkward it would have been for a teenage girl to do all of those scenes if she had been any less self assured and professional than Joey King is. So , I set my story in a high school that was putting on the play the Kissing Booth, and made my own characters with their own insecurities and struggles. I will be updating this once a week if anyone starts reading it.
