Lani, a 15 year old teenager, is quite far from what people would call a 'normal teenager'. She doesn't go out, she goes to school and comes straight home. She sits by herself. When she is suddenly taken up by a friendly girl in her class, everything seems to start to get better. But what will she think when she discovers Lani's past? Will she be afraid of her? Lani may seem like just a private person or is it her past that keeps her running away from everything? Lani has to move on, forget what happened, but it's not that easy when the past is still very much alive, haunting her everyday. She needs help and she needs it now, before it's too late.
