Estelle Bishop is a gifted dancer, who likes to do high school cheer on the side. She is on a dance team led by Miss Adamira, or Addie, with 4 other teammates who are her best friends: Max, Kalia, Brianna, and Xavier.
Things change when Caden Bridges moves to Florida and joins their team, filling in the sixth spot and becoming Estelle's new duet partner. They have to figure out their chemistry in their dancing, which might lead to some feelings arising.
Meanwhile, Estelle has to deal with other issues in her life such as her father, her body, and the return of a boy who left their friend group months ago. All of these factors make for one hell of a journey.
All Estelle wants is to be perfect.
