You know, I've always wondered how the world would have been without the Monsters controlling the world. How it would have been to be able to choose your own partner, or mate as they are called by the Monsters. Imagine a world in which you are not forced to be with a Mutagen, also known as the superior race. The monsters, not those that simply hide under your bed at night. Oh no, these are very much alive and real.
Amalie is a simple human girl who lives in Sector II, together with all the other unclaimed humans. She's been taught since she was young to fear the monsters. To always stay clear of them. Those who enslaved humanity and forced the humans into submission.
Never look them into the eyes.
Never talk directly to them.
Never disobey them.
What will Amalie do once she discovers that she has a mate? And a mate whose a Nemexis at that, could life be crueller?
