THE LEGEND OF MALCHUS: BOOK THE SECOND A dark shadow has fallen over the nation of Malkuth. What few scavengers remained in the deserted Outland have been hunted down and defeated by the unstoppable onslaught of the Territe Army. What little hope remained has been snuffed out like the light of a candle. But with the arrival of a mysterious savior, Laban and his friends have been spared from the Territes' executions. This stranger might hold the key to their survival, and perhaps more; some much-needed information on how to defeat the unstoppable curse of the Shadow Man. _____________________________________________________________________________ This is the second book in my Legend of Malchus series, so if you haven't read the first part, Terror of the Shadow, go read that one! I hope you all enjoy it, and remember to leave a vote and a comment on the parts you liked!

The world did in fact not end with a bang, but a whisper. Nothing was left but a suffocating stillness. The air was thick with ash, the remnants of humanity left to crawl through a poisoned wasteland. The whispers of those we had lost haunted us. The line between predator and prey had began to blur. The dead did not rest but it was the survivors that plunged the earth into darkness. I had grew to watch the accustomed look of desperation between my group. Haunted by my past I became a distant memory to those I once looked to for hope. They just didn't understand that biding time wasn't a blessing, it was a curse. And I realised, as the sky grew white-the end was never the worst part; it was what came after. ---------- Book series: Book 1- In the Afterlife Book 2- Ashes of tomorrow
